Healogics® has one of the nation’s largest wound care databases.
The Healogics Wound Science Initiative is our commitment to use research to advance our understanding of wound care and continually improve treatment. Through our database on over 5.5 million wounds, Healogics has become the leading expert in evidence-based wound care. The result? Better outcomes for our patients.
We improve patients’ lives through research.
Since the inception of the Healogics Wound Science Initiative in 2017, we have published multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts, delivered webinars, published several white papers and research briefs, partnered with leading advocacy organizations and collaborated with academic organizations on ground-breaking research projects. Click the link below to read the latest in wound care news and review some of the data from our wound database on over 5 million wounds.
Through wound science and research, we are helping to heal more wounds.
More Data, More Knowledge
The more wounds we study, the more we learn about how ulcers begin, and how they transform into wounds.
Partnerships for Increased Insight
Through our partnerships with academic and scientific leaders, we apply outside research to our own observations, which helps us better understand why certain treatments work and others don’t.
Working Toward Wound Prevention
While advances in wound care have benefitted millions of patients, our vision is that one day, we will be able to predict and prevent ulcers before they have a chance to become a chronic wound.
